Blu-U® LIGHT TREATMENT and LEVULAN ®

Blu-U® is an effective, non-invasive treatment designed to clear moderate acne, sun damage, fine lines and uneven pigmentation. It is simple and fast and works by destroying the acne causing bacteria by emitting a safe cool visible blue -violet light that penetrates just deep enough into the tissue to reach the acne without affecting surrounding skin. Blu-U® may clear up to 70 - 90% of acne while also minimizing pores and reducing oil glands. It effectively treats stubborn acne, acne rosacea, and improves the appearance of some acne scars. It may be used alone or with Levulan®. When using the Levulan® there is mild irritation, but the results are quicker and usually produce a better outcome.
